BoatLIFE Silicone Rubber Sealant is a marine-grade, 100% silicone adhesive-sealant built for the demanding conditions of life on the water. It bonds tenaciously to fiberglass, plastic, metal, and wood, and it holds that bond both above and below the waterline. Whether you are re-bedding a hardware fitting, sealing a hatch, or closing up a small hull penetration, this sealant cures to a flexible, non-yellowing, waterproof seal that resists the flexing, vibration, and constant moisture exposure that break down ordinary caulks and adhesives. It will not corrode metal fittings, making it safe to use on stainless, aluminum, and chromed hardware throughout the boat.
The line is offered in clear and white colors and in three package sizes, from a compact 1 ounce tube for small touch-up jobs up to a 10.6 ounce cartridge for larger re-bedding and sealing projects run through a standard caulking gun.
