The CMC PL-65 High Speed Hydraulic Power-Lift Transom Jack Plate mounts between your boat's transom and outboard motor, giving you instant hydraulic control over engine height on the water. Running the motor higher clears the prop of turbulent water behind the hull, cutting drag and unlocking a faster hole shot, better fuel economy, and higher top-end speed, while also letting you lift the lower unit clear of shallow water, sandbars, and grass beds. Built around a roller-guided lift mechanism instead of sliding bushings, the PL-65 moves smoothly through a full 8-second stroke with less friction and less long-term wear, and its 7,853 pounds of thrust rating is enough to move a V6 outboard even under full throttle. The rugged alloy steel frame is finished to run in fresh or salt water and ships with all the mounting hardware needed to get it on the transom.

Both versions of the PL-65 share the same 5-1/2 inch setback, lifting capacity, and V6-up-to-300-HP rating; the only difference is instrumentation. Choose the With Gauge model (65301) if you want a built-in gauge on the helm to monitor exact motor height at a glance, which most boaters running trim-sensitive applications like tournament bass boats or flats boats prefer. Choose the No Gauge model (65302) if you already run a separate trim/height indicator, want to save on cost, or simply prefer to set height by feel and visual reference.
