It is designed to fill gouges, chips, scrapes, and deep scratches in the fiberglass gel coat on a vessel, restoring the surface before final finishing.
This is a One Step Finish Gel-Kote, a non-run, non-sag formulation of flexible polyester resins engineered for durability and toughness. It cures to a hard finish and is supplied in a neutral color so it can be tinted to the desired color using Evercoat Coloring Agents. For easy sprayer application, it can be thinned with Evercoat Acetone at a 10% ratio. To attain a fully cured surface, Evercoat Mold Release (Fiber-Glass-Evercoat part F-E-5685) must be used in conjunction with this gel coat.
