Gator Guards KeelShield Keel Guard - White, Available in 6' to 9' Lengths

The Gator Guards KeelShield Keel Guard is a self-adhesive keel protection strip built to absorb the abrasion, scraping, and impact that ramps, rocks, sand, and shell beds throw at the bottom of your keel. Made from pure polyurethane (urethane polymer), it forms a tough, flexible skin over the leading edge of the hull, the area that takes the most abuse on every launch and retrieval. The Prep-Peel-Stick installation uses an exclusive 3M adhesive system, so there is no mixing, no curing time, and no fiberglass work required, most boats are done in about an hour. It fits fiberglass and most aluminum hulls universally, keeping your keel looking good and your gelcoat or aluminum intact season after season.

Sizes & Options

KeelShield is sized to match your boat's overall length, not just the keel measurement. Choose the 6 foot length for boats in the 15 to 16 foot range, or the 9 foot length for boats in the 22 to 24 foot range. If your boat falls between listed ranges or has an unusually long or short keel run, measure the straight-line keel section that contacts ramps and beaches and choose the closest length at or above that measurement. Both lengths ship in the same 5 inch width and White color, and use the identical 3M-backed adhesive installation.
