This valve is sold by pipe size, and the correct choice comes down to matching your existing plumbing run rather than the application itself - a raw water intake and a washdown line can both use the same size valve if the pipe is the same. Measure the NPT thread size of the pipe or fitting the valve will be installed into (or match the size of the valve it is replacing) and select the corresponding option: 3/4 Inch NPT (IBV-750) for smaller supply lines and washdown circuits, 1 Inch NPT (IBV-1000) for common raw water intake and cooling lines, or 1-1/4 Inch NPT (IBV-1250) for higher-flow intake and discharge runs.
