Interlux ACT is a season-to-season ablative antifouling bottom paint engineered to keep hulls clean and fast in fresh, salt, and brackish water. Its Ablative Technology wears away gradually as the boat moves through the water, continuously exposing fresh biocide and eliminating the heavy buildup of old spent coatings that plague hard, non-ablative paints. That means less sanding and easier recoating at the start of each new season. ACT applies with a gloss finish and bonds well to fiberglass, wood, and properly primed metals, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of hull types (it is not recommended for aluminum). This product line is offered in a Blue quart, ideal for smaller boats, touch-ups, or trying the product before committing to a full hull job, and a Green gallon sized for larger vessels or full bottom jobs.

Choose the Green Gallon when covering a full hull or larger vessel, since one gallon covers approximately 430 sq. ft. at the recommended 2 mil dry film thickness. Match the volume to your boat's waterline length and surface area to avoid running short mid-application, and remember that color and size are paired per SKU, so select the combination that fits both your coverage needs and desired bottom color.
