Interlux ACT Ablative Antifouling Bottom Paint - Blue, Brown & Red, Gallon

Interlux ACT is a premium ablative (self-polishing) antifouling bottom paint engineered to keep hulls clean and fast season after season. As the boat moves through the water, the ablative film wears away gradually and evenly, continuously exposing fresh biocide so protection never fades the way it can with hard paints that build up and burn out. ACT is highly effective against shell fouling such as barnacles and zebra mussels, and it includes a built-in Slime Fighter additive to fight weed, slime, and algae growth. It is suitable for use in fresh, salt, and brackish water and applies smoothly to fiberglass, wood, and properly primed metal surfaces (not aluminum). Each gallon covers approximately 430 square feet at 2 mils dry film thickness, making it easy to estimate how much paint your hull will need.
