For bare underwater metals such as bronze and stainless steel shafts, struts, props, trim tabs and thru-hull fittings, bring the metal to a uniform bright finish by sandblasting with non-ferrous media such as clean silica sand, or grind using coarse to medium emery cloth, then remove all residue and degrease the surface before priming and coating. Apply 2 to 3 coats for best protection, following the dry times on the label.
