Bring bare metal to a uniform bright finish by sandblasting with non-ferrous media such as clean silica sand, or grind with coarse to medium emery cloth, then remove all residue. Degrease the surface before priming. When painting aluminum, use Trilux 33 over the appropriate primer system, then apply 2 to 3 coats of antifouling following the label dry times.
