Choose your cordset based on your boat's shore power inlet rating and the distance from your boat to the dock pedestal. If your boat has a standard 30 amp 125 volt shore power inlet, select the 30A cordset in either 25 foot or 50 foot length. If your boat draws more power and has a 50 amp 125/250 volt inlet, choose the 50A cordset, also available in 25 foot or 50 foot lengths. Always pick the shortest length that comfortably reaches your inlet with a little slack, since excess coiled cable can add unnecessary strain and heat buildup.
