Wired into the power supply line between the battery and the windlass motor, it guards against short circuits and reduces the risk of DC motor burn-out if the winch is overloaded or jams under load. The panel also functions as a manual isolator, letting you disconnect the battery or electrical supply whenever the windlass is not in use, which protects the system from accidental activation and stray current draw. Built for both 12V and 24V DC installations, this panel mounts close to the battery power source for the shortest possible run of unprotected cable. Choose the 80 Amp panel for lighter-duty windlass and capstan installations, or step up to the 135 Amp panel for higher-draw systems that need additional headroom.
