The Michigan Wheel Vortex A-Series is a value-engineered aluminum outboard propeller built to deliver reliable performance and durability without the cost of stainless steel. Available in both 3-blade and 4-blade configurations across a range of diameter and pitch combinations, the Vortex A-Series suits inflatables, aluminum consoles, walleye boats, offshore singles, pontoons, skiboats, and family cruisers. Each propeller uses the XHS/XHS II Xchangeable Hub System, which is interchangeable with the Mercury Flo-Torq II hub system, so you can match the prop to your existing hub kit or purchase one separately. The high gloss powder coat finish resists corrosion and abrasion in fresh and salt water, and the cast aluminum blades absorb minor impacts from debris and grounding better than rigid stainless blades, reducing the risk of gearcase damage.

This line covers three distinct configurations, each identified by blade count, diameter, and pitch: a 3-blade 14-1/2" x 19" pitch prop finished in black, a 4-blade 14" x 20" pitch prop, and a 3-blade 14" x 23" pitch prop. Fewer blades and lower pitch generally deliver higher top-end speed, while more blades and higher pitch improve hole shot, load-carrying ability, and smoother low-speed handling. Match your selection to your engine's horsepower, boat weight, and typical load to keep the engine running within its recommended RPM range. All configurations use the same RH rotation and XHS/XHS II hub system, but require a separately purchased hub kit sized to your gearcase.
