Each kit uses a pair of 9.5 inch wide by 10 inch deep thermo-molded composite trim planes that self-adjust to changing sea conditions, boat speed, and weight distribution, leveling the ride, reducing bow rise, cutting down on porpoising, and improving fuel economy and visibility while underway. Because the planes react mechanically to water pressure instead of relying on electronics, there is nothing to fail underwater and no controller to maintain.
