Unlike a fixed cleat that permanently stands proud of the mounting surface, the horns on this cleat pivot flat against the deck when not in use, then fold upright to secure a dock line, fender line, or halyard. This low-profile design reduces stubbed toes, snagged lines, and tripping hazards on walk-around decks, swim platforms, and dock boxes, while still delivering solid holding power when the horns are raised.
