The 964408 is built for 1/4 inch (6-7mm) chain and anchors up to 22 pounds, making it a fit for smaller boats and lighter ground tackle. The 964410 steps up to 5/16-3/8 inch chain for larger anchors and heavier rode. Check your chain's link diameter and your anchor's rated weight before ordering, since an undersized swivel will not accept oversized chain links and an oversized swivel will not seat properly on a thin chain.
