BoatLife Git-Rot is a two-part penetrating epoxy engineered to soak deep into dry, rotted wood and cure it into a solid, structurally sound repair. Unlike surface-patch fillers, Git-Rot's low viscosity liquid formula travels by capillary action into the damaged fibers of transoms, stringers, deck cores, cabin roofs, window frames, and other wood components on fiberglass and wood boats, then hardens the wood from the inside out. Because it works with the existing rotted fibers rather than requiring you to dig them all out first, it is one of the fastest ways to stabilize soft, punky wood before glassing over or fairing a repair. The line is packaged in three sizes so you can match the amount of epoxy to the scope of the job, from a small localized soft spot to a full transom rebuild.
