It is designed to promote the complete cure of polyester gel coat, eliminating surface tackiness that can otherwise remain after a gel coat repair or lay-up. The 8 fl. Oz. PVA Mold Release can be applied by spraying or with a soft bristle brush. For spray application, use a small orifice spray gun at 90 to 100 psi or an aerosol spray, holding the nozzle 12 to 18 inches from the surface. Apply a light mist coat first, followed by a heavier full wet coat. If applying by brush, use one full coat and allow it to dry 30 to 60 minutes before applying resin to the mold.
When used over gel coat, apply one full wet coat by spray or brush to the uncured gel coat surface and allow the gel coat to cure for 4 to 6 hours before removing the mold release.
