Interlux InterProtect Epoxy Barrier Coat Primer - Gray Gallon Kit & White Quart

Interlux InterProtect is a two-part epoxy barrier coat primer engineered to protect fiberglass, metal, wood, and composite hulls from water absorption and osmotic blistering. Applied below the waterline beneath antifouling paint or above the waterline beneath topside finishes, InterProtect uses Micro-Plates Technology - overlapping, plate-shaped pigment particles that build a dense, layered film inside the coating. This layered structure forces moisture to travel a much longer, more convoluted path to reach the substrate, dramatically slowing water intrusion and helping prevent the blistering and print-through that plague unprotected hulls. The line is available as the InterProtect 2000E Gray gallon kit, a full two-part epoxy system for larger jobs, and the InterProtect 2002 White quart, a smaller-format epoxy barrier coat sized for touch-ups, small hulls, or topside spot work. Both are waterproof once cured and suitable for interior and exterior marine applications.
