MPI Hardwall Marine Exhaust Hose is a reinforced, rigid-wall exhaust hose built to carry hot engine exhaust gas and cooling water from the manifold or riser to the transom or muffler on inboard and sterndrive boats. Unlike soft corrugated exhaust tubing, this hardwall construction holds its shape under vacuum and back pressure, resists collapsing on tight bends, and is molded to meet SAE J2006 marine exhaust hose standards. Each length is finished in black rubber with a blue identification stripe for quick tracing during installation or service, and it is rated for continuous operating temperatures up to 220 degrees F, covering the ongoing heat load of a running engine.

Measure the inside diameter of the existing hose or fitting before ordering, since hardwall exhaust hose is not designed to stretch over a mismatched fitting size. The 3 inch x 6 foot length suits smaller inboard and sterndrive exhaust runs, while the 4 inch ID x 6-1/4 foot length is intended for larger displacement engines with bigger exhaust outlets. If your run is longer than the supplied length, sections can be coupled with an appropriately sized fitting and additional hose clamps.
