The cable carries a 0.34 inch super tough HDPE jacket that resists abrasion and withstands UV, salt water, chemicals, gasoline, and oil, along with 0.033 inch oil tempered lay wires for strength and performance. Stainless steel terminals and conduit fittings add corrosion protection, and the cable is lubricated for life at the factory. Its 4 inch minimum bend radius (versus 8 inches for standard cables) makes it well suited to foot throttle applications on performance and bass boats, and to complex or long cable runs.
